Every day, an average of one hundred bicycles are stolen in Belgium. In order to return more stolen and found bicycles to the owner, the province of Antwerp and Bikebank are joining forces for the registration and processing of lost and found bicycles. The provinces of Limburg, East Flanders, Flemish Brabant and the Brussels-Capital Region also support the provision of services regarding the registration and processing of lost and found bicycles for the municipalities and police zones in their territory.
The police or municipalities register recovered bicycles on this website. In the event of loss or theft, you can check via this website whether your bicycle has already been found.
Register your bike immediately after purchase or as soon as possible for free (with photo) in the Bikebank. This increases the recognisability and the chance of finding your bicycle after theft or removal.
The Bikebank label is an extra tool to register your bicycle and reduce the risk of theft.
